We are absolutely delighted that Helen Henderson and Hazel Woodward have been called out on International Women’s Day by Jill Emery of Portland State University Library. They are, rightly, described as “iconoclasts and mavericks who refuse to settle to prescribed career paths or accept standard rhetoric for information provision.” Their many successes in building connections between libraries, information providers, and publishers is celebrated. Information Power would not exist without them, and they continue to inspire us.
