Funders are dynamic and quick-moving, always influencing how research is done and disseminated. We have a track record of supporting funders through their pilots and projects, bringing our in-depth understanding of how libraries and publishers actually think and work. Without this understanding, funders can overspend on unrealistic policies that are realistically too difficult for publishers or libraries to implement. We can support the successful development and implementation of policies by facilitating a constructive dialogue between funders, publishers, and libraries. We’re available to deliver a wide range of short term or medium-length projects to inform funders’ strategy and policies, as well as tracking implementation and compliance for those policies. With experience engaging with funders in more than fifty countries around their open access policy development, we can also help to benchmark funders’ own successes to those of other funders in other countries.
